Memberships & Accreditations

The RIBA is a globally recognised professional membership body driving excellence in architecture. The aim of this professional body and its members is to serve society to deliver better buildings and places, creating stronger communities and a sustainable environment.

The title ‘architect’ is protected by law in the UK. The ARB qualification aims to show clients that these architects are highly qualified, hold appropriate insurance, and adhere to the professional standards in the Architect’s Registration Board Code of Practice.

The Cayman Society of Architects, Surveyors, and Engineers is a Cayman-based professional membership body. Supporting the development of good architecture and construction in the Cayman Islands, improving the local environment, and striving to deliver enhanced professional services, including a high standard in design and construction.

The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) is a leading professional body working in the public interest to advance knowledge, uphold standards, and inspire current and future professionals. Our members help to create and protect built and natural environments that are sustainable, resilient and inclusive for all.

With the passing of the ARIDO act by the Ontario Legislature in 1984 we officially became ARIDO, the Association of Registered Interior Designers. The act was amended by the passing of Bill Pr6 in 1999 to grant Registered Members who meet ARIDO standards exclusive use of the title Interior Designer in Ontario.

By giving legal standing to the designation of Interior Designer, the government bestows on the title a measure of respect and recognizes the high standards of education, training, and formal examination that professional interior designers meet.

Founded in 1972, Interior Designers of Canada (IDC) is the national advocacy association for the interior design profession.

As the national advocacy body, IDC represents more than 5,000 design professionals including fully qualified interior designers and related professionals.

In addition, we have as members over 200 manufacturers and suppliers who provide products and services for interior design projects and firms.
